PM Vishwakarma Yojana 2024 Registration Process

The registration process for the PM Vishwakarma Yojana involves the following steps:

Online Application:

• Submit your application through the PM Vishwakarma portal using Aadhaar-based biometric authentication.
• Alternatively, apply through Common Service Centres (CSCs) with the help of Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) or Enumerators.

2. CSC Support:

• CSCs offer assistance in assessing your needs and guiding you through available benefits.
• They will also inform you about the Skill Upgradation component during the application process.

3. Bank Account Information:

• Provide your Aadhaar-seeded bank account details for receiving financial benefits.

PM Vishwakarma Scheme Verification and Approval: A Three-Step Process

The PM Vishwakarma Scheme’s beneficiary registration comprises a three-step verification and approval process:

Step 1: Gram Panchayat or ULB Level Verification

• Initially, the Head of Gram Panchayat/Chairman of Village Council or Executive Head/Administrator of Urban Local Body will conduct the primary screening of registered artisans/craftspeople.
• The Head of Panchayat may delegate screening tasks to Gram Sevak/Panchayat Secretary for verifying beneficiary details.
• The Head of Gram Panchayat will confirm whether the beneficiary has a traditional self-employment history in the trade.
• Verification will also include scrutinizing family details to ensure that only one eligible person per family is included.
• Details collected by VLEs will be certified by the Head of Gram Panchayat or Executive Head of ULB.

Step 2: Vetting and Recommendation by District Implementation Committee

• The registration details, verified by the Head of Gram Panchayat/Executive Head, will be electronically forwarded to the District Implementation Committee.
• The District Implementation Committee will review and recommend beneficiary applications.

Step 3: Approval by Screening Committee

• The final approval will be granted by the Screening Committee, considering the recommendations from the District Implementation Committee.
• The Screening Committee, led by the DC-MSME field formation officer, will include members such as the State Lead Bank Manager and representatives from MSDE.
• The Screening Committee will oversee the registration process in each State/UT.

PM Vishwakarma Yojana 2024 Implementation: A Two-Phase Approach

Phase 1:

• Led by the Ministry of MSME through KVIC
• Dedicated online portal for registration and application
• Initial rollout in 100 districts across India
