NVS Admissions 2024-25 Official Notification PDF

 The notification for the NVST is usually released by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). It contains important details such as eligibility criteria, exam date, and the application process.

NVS Admissions 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria

For 9th Class:

• Only those candidates who are bonafide residents & studying Class VIII during the Academic Session 2023-24 in one of the Govt./Govt. recognized schools of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning and where admission is sought, are eligible.
• District of residence and district of class VIII study should be same in respect of candidates who desire to apply for admission to class IX (session 2024-25) in the JNV located in the same district.
• ii. Candidate appearing for the admission test must qualify/ pass Class VIII in the academic session 2023-24 from a Govt./Govt. recognized school in the district where he/she is seeking admission.
• The students who have already passed class VIII in previous academic sessions are not eligible.
• This is applicable to all categories of candidates including those who belong to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Navodaya Vidyalaya Saiti reserves the right to refer any candidate to a MEDICAL BOARD for confirmation of the age of the candidate, in case any doubt arises about the age on the basis of certificate produced by the candidate before confirmation of admission.Only Indian Nationals, who are studying Class-VIII in India are eligible to apply.

For 11th Class-: 

• This is applicable to all categories of candidates including those who belong to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.Candidates who have passed class X prior to the session 2023-24 are not eligible.
• Candidates who are studying in class X during the session 2023-24 only are eligible to apply.
• The candidate must be studying in Class X from a Govt./ Govt. Recognized school (affiliated to CBSE or any other State Education Board/ other Govt. recognized Board) of the District where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located during the academic session2023-24 (April 2023 to March 2024 session) / 2023 (January to December 2023 session).
• Only Indian Nationals, who are studying Class-X in India are eligible to apply.
