Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Level 1: Primary Teacher (PRT) (Class 1-5)
- Must have completed 12th grade with at least 50% marks.
- Must be in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) program, or a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education program, or a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) program.
- Must have Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in 12th grade, or in graduation or post-graduation.
Level 2: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) (Class 6-8)
- Must have completed graduation with at least 50% marks.
- Must be in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education program, or a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) program.
- Must have Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in 12th grade, or in graduation or post-graduation.
Level 3: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) (Class 9-12)
- Must have completed a postgraduate degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
- Must have completed a B.Ed program from a recognized university.
- Must have Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in 12th grade, or in graduation or post-graduation.
